Description
The Alber Cellcorder CRT 400 is a portable, professional battery cell resistance tester designed for accurate and efficient evaluation of stationary battery systems in industrial, telecommunications, power generation, data centers, and other mission-critical environments. Using a patented DC resistance test method, it measures individual cell float voltage, internal cell resistance, and intercell connection resistance to detect early signs of battery deterioration before failure occurs. The CRT 400 is capable of testing both single cells and multi-cell modules up to 16 V, and its circuitry effectively rejects 50 Hz/60 Hz ripple and noise, providing reliable results even when batteries remain in service.
Equipped with a high-contrast, backlit graphical LCD and intuitive keypad, the unit simplifies setup and on-site operation, while its auto-ranging functionality selects optimal voltage range, load resistor, and test time for each measurement. Results are displayed clearly and can be stored on a USB flash drive for later analysis, trend tracking, or reporting. Data transfer to a PC is supported via USB or infrared interfaces, and optional software enables generation of detailed tabular and graphical reports, making maintenance planning and performance benchmarking easier.
Built for reliability and field use, the Alber Cellcorder CRT 400 includes a rugged carrying case, resistance and voltage test leads, AC charger, and accessories. Its long battery life and robust construction make it suited for routine battery maintenance, preventive diagnostics, and troubleshooting across a range of industrial and utility applications.
