It simultaneously measures key gases such as methane (CH₄), carbon dioxide (CO₂), and oxygen (O₂), with optional detection of hydrogen sulfide (H₂S), hydrogen‑compensated carbon monoxide (CO), ammonia (NH₃), and hydrogen (H₂), making it highly versatile for environmental monitoring, waste‑to‑energy optimisation, and site investigation tasks.

Equipped with a clear 4.3″ full‑colour TFT display and intuitive menus, the GA5000 shows real‑time gas readings, peak values, and previous measurements, while a robust internal pump and advanced sensor technologies (infrared for CH₄/CO₂ and electrochemical cells for other gases) deliver fast, reliable results with response times as low as 10 seconds for principal gases. Its modular design supports data logging (up to 2,000 IDs and 4,000 readings), profiling, event logging, and additional options such as borehole gas flow measurement, GPS/field navigator, and wireless Bluetooth data communication when used with Gas Analyser Manager (GAM) software.
